Inflation in India's retail market fell to its lowest level in a year in December, according to data released by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation. The Consumer Price Index (CPI) for the month of December 2020 stood at 5.72%, a decrease of 0.2% from the November 2020 figure of 5.54%. This marks the lowest inflation rate since December 2019, when it was 5.54%.
