Texas agrees to stop effort to purge voter rolls

National News by Timothy Sumer - The American Civil Liberties Union and other civil rights groups filed a lawsuit against state elections officials, claiming that they were aware that their lists of supposed noncitizens included naturalized citizens who were eligible to vote.
