PERS: 'There's not one silver bullet'


Bob Livingston, a battalion chief with the Salem Fire Department and a union official, discusses how local governments could help pay down PERS' $25.3 billion unfunded actuarial liability. He is a member of the Oregon Public Employees Retirement System task force trying to come up with $5 billion to help build the pension system's reserves. Gov.
