The 2011 Fidelity Investments Jumper Classic was a major event in the world of show jumping. Held in Lexington, Kentucky, the event featured some of the world’s best show jumpers competing for the top prize. The competition was held at the Kentucky Horse Park, and the course was designed by renowned course designer Richard Jeffery. The course was made up of 17 obstacles, including a large water jump and a triple combination. The competition was divided into two divisions: the Grand Prix and the Open Jumper. The Grand Prix was open to all riders, while the Open Jumper was only open to riders who had qualified through the Fidelity Investments Jumper Classic Series. The Grand Prix was won by Canadian rider Erynn Ballard, who rode her horse, “Gemini”, to victory. She was also the overall winner of the Fidelity Investments Jumper Classic Series. The Open Jumper division was won by American rider Todd Minikus, who rode his horse, “Cabana Boy”, to victory. The Fidelity Investments Jumper Classic was an exciting event that showcased some of the world’s best show jumpers.
