TSP June Update: C Fund, S Fund, I Fund, and F Fund in Focus

Good morning, First, I am not a financial advisor or financial analyst. It is my hobby to analyze the market. So please make a reasonable decision whenever you come to buy or sell your TSP. C fund, S&P 500, is almost reaching the end of the triangle. So at this point, it has a lower percentage of heading upside unless big news comes out, such as an innovation, something more than just Artificial Intelligent. Based on the weekly chart, the market should move above the triangle 1/2 to 3/4 from a distance between the lowest point in the line to the end of the triangle to consider a bull market. There are a total of 55 bars. If we do the calculation, half of last year's 55 bars should be around mid-December; and 3/4 is about late March of this year. Nothing happened at both times. Once the market slowly moves to the end of the triangle, the probability of going higher is lower. Currently, the market is more likely to go up and come down later. Next, we will look at the RSI indicator: it has been consistent in the past several months that the RSI falls whenever it reaches around 65. So you can judge where the market is going from now on. S fund. S fund is moving quietly. It has a downside of 2.37 from the closing price on the last day of May. If it breaks the resistant line, the maximal upside is 7.37%. The chart shows institutions have been slowly buying the fund since mid-March. F fund As long as the debt ceiling bill passes, the f fund will benefit. I fund I fund has a potential -6.22 down. So I don't see the upside at this point....(read more)

Thrift Savings Plan (TSP) is a retirement savings program available to federal employees and members of the uniformed services. It offers several investment options known as funds, each with its own risk and return characteristics. In this article, we will discuss the four funds available in TSP for the month of June: C Fund, S Fund, I Fund, and F Fund. C Fund: The C Fund is designed to track the performance of the U.S. stock market, particularly the S&P 500 index. It is considered a large-cap fund, meaning it focuses on investing in large, well-established companies. The C Fund is known for its potential for long-term growth, making it an attractive option for investors with a higher risk tolerance. However, it may also experience higher volatility compared to other funds. S Fund: The S Fund aims to replicate the performance of the Dow Jones U.S. Completion Total Stock Market Index, which represents a broader range of U.S. stocks than the C Fund. The S Fund includes mid-cap and small-cap stocks, offering exposure to companies with higher growth potential. This fund may be suitable for investors who are willing to tolerate additional risk in pursuit of higher returns. I Fund: The I Fund focuses on international stocks and seeks to match the performance of the MSCI EAFE (Europe, Australasia, Far East) Index. By investing in companies outside the United States, the I Fund provides diversification and international exposure. This fund allows investors to diversify their portfolios beyond domestic markets but comes with additional risks such as currency fluctuations and geopolitical factors. It can be a valuable addition for those seeking global investment opportunities. F Fund: The F Fund invests in government, corporate, and mortgage-backed bonds, aiming to replicate the performance of the Bloomberg Barclays U.S. Aggregate Bond Index. This fund emphasizes fixed-income securities and generally provides a lower risk investment compared to equity-based funds. The F Fund offers stability and income potential, making it a popular option for conservative investors seeking capital preservation and regular interest payments. It is crucial to note that the performance of TSP funds can fluctuate based on various economic factors, market conditions, and geopolitical events. Therefore, it is important for investors to carefully consider their risk tolerance, time horizon, and investment goals before making decisions on fund allocation within their TSP accounts. Moreover, TSP participants can adjust their fund allocations at any time within their TSP account. This flexibility allows investors to adapt their investments to changing economic conditions or personal circumstances. In conclusion, the Thrift Savings Plan offers federal employees and uniformed service members a range of investment options through its various funds. The C Fund, S Fund, I Fund, and F Fund provide opportunities for growth, diversification, and stability, catering to different risk tolerances and investment goals. It is always prudent to consult with a financial advisor or conduct thorough research before making investment decisions within your TSP account. https://inflationprotection.org/tsp-june-update-c-fund-s-fund-i-fund-and-f-fund-in-focus/?feed_id=121766&_unique_id=64c3774a11f8d #Inflation #Retirement #GoldIRA #Wealth #Investing #401k #cfund #ffund #ifund #Sfund #thriftsavingsplan #tsp #ThriftSavingsPlan #401k #cfund #ffund #ifund #Sfund #thriftsavingsplan #tsp
