Failed Money in the Bank Cash-In Attempts: WWE Top 10 - August 27, 2018 Throughout the years, Money in the Bank has become one of the most anticipated and unpredictable events in the WWE calendar. The concept of a superstar being able to cash in their Money in the Bank contract at any time and any place has led to some of the most memorable and shocking moments in professional wrestling history. However, not every cash-in attempt has resulted in success. In fact, some have ended in utter failure and disappointment. Let's take a look at the top 10 failed Money in the Bank cash-in attempts in WWE history, as of August 27, 2018. 10. Baron Corbin - Money in the Bank 2017: On August 20, 2017, Baron Corbin cashed in his Money in the Bank contract on WWE Champion Jinder Mahal following a grueling match against John Cena. However, before the referee could ring the bell, Corbin was distracted by Cena, allowing Mahal to roll him up for a surprise victory. Corbin's moment of glory turned into a humiliating defeat. 9. Damien Sandow - Money in the Bank 2013: In July 2013, Damien Sandow won the Money in the Bank contract and held it for nearly three months. On October 28, 2013, after being attacked by World Heavyweight Champion John Cena, Sandow attempted to cash in his contract, only for Cena to overpower him and secure the victory. Sandow's hopes of becoming champion were shattered in an instant. 8. Shelton Benjamin - No Mercy 2007: Shelton Benjamin's Money in the Bank contract would have given him a golden opportunity at becoming WWE Champion. In October 2007, Benjamin cashed in his contract on Randy Orton, who had just competed in a match against Triple H. However, before the referee could start the match, Orton dropped Benjamin with an RKO, leaving him unable to seize the opportunity. 7. Dolph Ziggler - SmackDown LIVE, November 15, 2016: On November 15, 2016, Dolph Ziggler cashed in his Money in the Bank contract on WWE World Champion AJ Styles following a grueling match against Dean Ambrose. However, before the bell could ring, Styles attacked Ziggler and ultimately retained his championship. Ziggler's hopes of taking home the title were dashed yet again. 6. Mr. Kennedy - SmackDown, May 7, 2007: Mr. Kennedy was set to cash in his Money in the Bank contract on World Heavyweight Champion Edge in May 2007. However, before the match could begin, Kennedy suffered a legitimate injury, forcing him to relinquish the contract. This unforeseen turn of events prevented him from achieving his goal. 5. John Cena - Raw, July 1, 2012: June 24, 2012, marked the iconic moment when John Cena won the Money in the Bank contract. Just a week later, on July 1, 2012, Cena boldly attempted to cash in on CM Punk, who had just defended his WWE Championship against Daniel Bryan. Unfortunately for Cena, Big Show interfered, causing the match to end in disqualification. Cena's failed cash-in added another exciting chapter to the feud between Punk and himself. 4. The Miz - Raw, November 22, 2010: The Miz's Money in the Bank cash-in remains one of the most talked-about moments in WWE history. On November 22, 2010, The Miz attempted to cash in on then-WWE Champion Randy Orton. However, as the referee was about to call for the bell, Nexus member Wade Barrett interfered, leading to a disqualification and a failed cash-in for The Miz. 3. Damien Sandow - Raw, October 28, 2013: Not only did Damien Sandow make the list once, but he also appeared twice due to his unfortunate cash-in attempts. On the same night as his failed attempt on John Cena, Sandow went on to challenge WWE Champion Randy Orton. However, Orton successfully defended his title, leaving Sandow empty-handed once again. 2. Carmella - SmackDown LIVE, May 22, 2018: As the first-ever women's Money in the Bank contract holder, Carmella had high hopes of successfully cashing in and becoming the SmackDown Women's Champion. On May 22, 2018, after Charlotte Flair was brutally attacked by Carmella's accomplice, The IIconics, she attempted to cash in. However, Charlotte managed to regroup and defeated Carmella, leaving her without the championship she desired. 1. John Cena - Raw, July 23, 2012: The number one spot on our list goes to John Cena, who experienced yet another failed cash-in attempt. On July 23, 2012, Cena announced before an injured CM Punk that he would cash in his contract at the 1000th episode of Raw. However, Mr. Money in the Bank, The Big Show, delivered a knockout punch to Cena, resulting in another unsuccessful cash-in for the franchise player. While the Money in the Bank contract has given countless superstars a golden opportunity to achieve championship glory, it has also witnessed heartbreak and disappointment. These failed attempts have added an element of unpredictability to the concept, keeping fans on the edge of their seats, wondering if their favorite superstar will seize the moment or ultimately fall short. https://inflationprotection.org/top-10-unsuccessful-money-in-the-bank-cash-in-attempts-wwe-august-27-2018/?feed_id=126869&_unique_id=64d841813ce08 #Inflation #Retirement #GoldIRA #Wealth #Investing #Carmella #Charlotte #CMPunk #DeanAmbrose #DolphZiggler #JohnCena #Kane #mitb #moneyinthebank #moneyinthebankcashins #ReyMysterio #SethRollins #superstars #top10 #Umaga #worldwrestlingentertainment #wrestle #wrestler #wrestling #wwe #WWETop10 #مصارعه #कुश्ती #डब्लूडब्लूई #पहलवान #मैच #व्यावसायिककुश्ती #सुपरस्टार #BankFailures #Carmella #Charlotte #CMPunk #DeanAmbrose #DolphZiggler #JohnCena #Kane #mitb #moneyinthebank #moneyinthebankcashins #ReyMysterio #SethRollins #superstars #top10 #Umaga #worldwrestlingentertainment #wrestle #wrestler #wrestling #wwe #WWETop10 #مصارعه #कुश्ती #डब्लूडब्लूई #पहलवान #मैच #व्यावसायिककुश्ती #सुपरस्टार
