Which is Better: Investing in a Non-Deductible IRA or Post-Tax Brokerage? | YMYW Podcast

Contribute to Non-Deductible IRA or Post-Tax Brokerage? (Allen) In the past, while working, I typically made too much salary to contribute to a Roth IRA, or get a deduction for a regular IRA contribution. Therefore, I made annual contributions to a non-deductible IRA, and I have been keeping track of the basis, so that I don't pay taxes on the non-deductible contributions, when I decide to start taking withdrawals. One is when you withdraw funds, you don't have the choice of withdrawing from just the bond fund. And that was kind of my plan to help, you know, stay rebalanced over the years. But you have to withdraw in equal increments from all the funds. And I'm wondering, is there some kind of workaround for this that I don't know about? Or is it not terrible? Because I don't understand how that's good. But this is the great TSP, so, you know, I don't want to giv

There was a recent article released that shows the historic math and illustrates just how powerful this investing strategy can be if you allow it to work. The problem is, as the article admits, these stocks are boring and aren’t very fun to talk about. Where do you find these stocks? What makes them so powerful in battling against inflation? I will cover that and more within this strategy building video. I would encourage you to not rush into the strategy though! You don’t want to find yourself in situations where you weren’t prepared. So, like anything within the world of personal finances and wealth building, make sure that you do your homework and study hard for whatever works best with your personal situation. If you are sick and tired of inflation eating away at your wealth and want to make more control over your investing an
