There are also a number of entrepreneurs and innovators in Campbell River who are working to foster a circular economy. These innovators are creating new products and services, such as the Green Bin, a reusable and recyclable waste bin, and the Eco-Bin, a compost bin. They are also developing new technologies, such as the Waste-to-Energy-to-Fertilizer system, which converts food waste into energy and fertilizer.
